Suzi Stern Vocal Coach
For over 4 decades Suzi Stern has honed her craft as a music educator, teaching private lessons in vocal technique and leading group clinics in jazz improvisation across the US and Europe.
Stern moved from Los Angeles to Lenox MA in 2021.
Stern is on the staff of the New School of Music Jazz and Blues Camp in Austin, Texas which is in partnership with saxophonist and educator Don Braden and the Lichfield Jazz Camp in Connecticut.
Stern has released 8 CDs to date on Aardvark Records, Viewpoint Records and Bus Biscuit Records. She is a seasoned performer, song writer and a published lyricist. More on Stern’s performance career and reviews at: www.suzistern.com/reviews
She has had finalists on the series “The Voice”, winners in the Jazziz Magazine “Vocals On Fire” competition and her most recent award winner was Chelsea Chiu, from Los Angeles, who won the 2022 Downbeat best jazz vocal soloist student award.
